What was this year. I think most people would agree with me it was odd. The year of the snake really threw me like a white water rapid. You were supposed to shed what didn’t serve. Technically there are still 2~ months to go, if you follow the Chinese calendar or the pagan calendars.
My nomadic life continued, allowing me to visit 7 countries. No new countries, but some new cities to see. I had been fairly strict about not repeating countries but last November I hit 40 countries visited. This year I took some time to revisit. I spent a month in Costa Rica, returned to Bogota, drank wine in Valle de Guadalupe and Mexico City, tasted pesto in Genoa, partied in Ibiza, was baptized by Niagara Falls, and am ringing in the new year in Iceland.
My professional life made me feel like an on the road salesmen. I hopped between New York, Miami, LA, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and Costa Mesa enough times to make your head spin. On top of that I went back and forth from San Diego to New York every month for 6 months. The amount of time I spent in the air I could of had a week’s vacation.
What major takeaways and lessons can I say I learned this year? I took risks in love and life. I signed my first lease since 2020. I slowed down, well, my version of slowing down.
2025 was full of taking the spontaneous choice. The last minute purchase that changes your week and possibly your year. That choice leaves you exhausted after the fact, thinking what just happened. But the result is incredible, some of them below.

- Completing 8 weeks of events, including spending my birthday, with YSL, Prada, Armani, Valentino, and Taco Bell
- Front row with Bad Bunny in Puerto Rico
- Convincing my brother to help me carry everything I own from DC to New York
- Catch ups with friends in Milan under full moons
- Rainy sunrises in Ibiza after Rufus De Sol
- Being drenched by Niagara falls
- Perrero sola in Mexico City
- taking my 46th flight of the year to Iceland for new years
my feet don't want to go to sleep
