Calenda / the street festival in oaxaca is THE best experience. These are thrown daily literally daily for any reason. In the week I was there we saw quinceañeras, weddings, religious holidays, and a union take to the streets and celebrate. The characters are white spinning balls normally with the celebrations reason, men on stilts, one of them dressed as a woman, a scarecrow in colorful ribbons, and endless marching bands. Does everyone play a brass instrument in this town??? People hand out homemade mezcal and invite the whole town to celebrate together. It’s the most beautiful. #mexico #digitalnomad #remotelife #oaxaca #calenda
Who wants to start an agave farm to make mezcal with me?
Oaxaca photo dump…. From October, life’s been busy 💚 #linkinbio on the top 10 things to see in this gorg city
Oaxaca City, Mexico is art, mole, and color. Follow me back to my favorite city and another excellent @selina for delicious mole from @lospacosoax and all the street art a girl could dream of. Another amazing place in Mexico to work remotely and explore beauty.
Remote work is the dream but it is also freaking hard. You are constantly fighting the two sides of life: work and exploration. Can I visit this far away place? Will I have service there? Can I take that trip to the forest? Did I finish my deliverables this week? Nothing teaches you about prioritization better than trying to chase this dream.
La Paz, Mexico is just 2 hours north of Cabo and is a totally different experience. Vamos.
